Cabin fever – a myth or a reality? We don’t know about you, but it was very much a reality for us this season. That’s why we are so excited that spring is finally here. The weather is starting to warm up, the spring flowers will soon be appearing and there are a number of fun events coming up. Maple syrup demonstrations near Green Bay, WI 

One really neat thing about living where were we do in the country is maple syrup. If you have never seen a maple syrup tapping before, it’s worth the experience. Of course, after the tree tapping is the best part – the tasting! The Ledge View Nature Center in Chilton, WI is having a Maple Syrup Sunday event on March 18. Then on March 24 is a Maple Sweet Daily Maple Syrup Open House in De Pere. Those are two events that are worth checking out if you love maple syrup or are just curious about how it’s made.
