I need to know what the towing capabilities of the 4.6 Tundra SR 2018 is. Also can it be changed is some way?

Hi Robert! Thank you for your comment! The cab style and bed length you choose can affect how much towing capability your particular truck has. With a double cab short box you are looking at 6,500 pounds of towing capability. While you can’t increase towing capacity (unless you choose a different engine option), you might be able to use a fifth wheel hitch or a gooseneck hitch to improve your hitch load limit by using weight distribution to your advantage. You can learn more about that here: https://auto.howstuffworks.com/auto-parts/towing/towing-capacity/information/increase-towing-capacity.htm.
