The 2020 Highlander is coming soon to Le Mieux Toyota! This all-new model is fresh from a full redesign and boasts a more refined driving experience, a next-generation hybrid powertrain, new standard technologies and much more. Best of all, the 2020 Toyota Highlander gasoline-powered model is set for a December 2019 release date while the hybrid model will start to arrive in February 2020.

Will the 2020 Toyota Highlander have Apple CarPlay?

Yes! The new SUV will be standard with Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto®, SiriusXM ®, Waze, Amazon Alex compatibility and Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. Choose from five trims, including the L, LE, XLE, Limited and Platinum, each of which comes packed with a long list of features.

Toyota’s all-new Highlander will also be available with the segment’s largest touchscreen in the form of a 12.3” multimedia display. Other premium available features include new ambient LED lighting, new Lane Tracing Assist and Road Sign Assist technologies in addition to a new JBL Premium Sound System with 1,200 watts of power. Toyota’s 2020 Highlander also receives five stunning exterior color options, including Magnetic Gray Metallic, Moon Dust, Ruby Flare Pearl, Blueprint and Opulent Amber.

How powerful is the 2020 Toyota Highlander?

Gasoline-powered models feature a 295-hp, 3.5-liter V6 engine under the hood, which is capable of up to 5,000 pounds of towing capability. Hybrid models, on the other hand, have a 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine with two electric motors for a total system output of 240 horses.

What sort of safety features will the 2020 Toyota Highlander have?

The new Highlander is built using a new TNGA-K platform for exemplary collision protection and comes with eight airbags, a standard backup camera with an available Bird’s Eye Camera with Perimeter Scan for higher trims. All models are equipped with Toyota Safety Connect with a one-year trial subscription, a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, full-speed-range dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist and much more.
