Toyota models with the best resale value
The average new car will lose 33 percent of its original value in 60 months, according to Kelley Blue Book. So there’s always cause for celebration when there’s a vehicle that retains its resale value over time. That’s why KBB created its Best Resale Value Awards list. This annual list recognizes the top vehicles on the U.S. market with the strongest resale value. Best of all, Toyota vehicles made up the top 10 models on the list for 2018.
2018 Toyota Tacoma resale value
We are proud to announce that the 2018 Toyota Tacoma took the No. 1 spot on KBB’s list. America’s most-popular mid-size pickup truck keeps 69.6 percent of its resale value at 36 months and 61.1 percent at 60 months. It addition to its strong value, the Tacoma receives a variety of updates for 2018 and makes Toyota Safety Sense standard across all trims.

In the No. 2 place on KBB’s list is the 2018 Toyota Tundra. KBB found that the full-size pickup truck keeps 64.7 percent of its resale value after 36 months and 54.2 percent of its resale value after 60 months. For 2018 the Tundra loses the regular cab and TRD Pro models and adds a new TRD Sport trim. Toyota has also now made its Safety Sense-P standard across all trims.
Last but not least and coming in at No. 3 is the 2018 Toyota 4Runner. It maintains 65.8 percent of its resale value after 36 months and 54.2 percent of its value after 60 months. There are also a variety of updates on the SUV for 2018, including new Wilderness and TRD Enhancement packages.
