Nissan’s 2018 Rogue receives a few updates for the model year, including an optional ProPilot Assist technology. The optional third-row of seating is also no longer available on the Rogue for 2018.

Where the Rogue excels is its high-end interior with plenty of entertainment and convenience features. Inside the cabin, car shoppers will find comfortable seats and a spacious cargo area. Under the hood is a 170-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a CVT. Like the 2018 Toyota RAV4, all 2018 Nissan Rogue models are standard with front-wheel drive with the option of all-wheel drive.

Even with its strengths, the 2018 Nissan Rogue struggles with an underpowered engine and overall noisy transmission. Compared to the 2018 Toyota RAV4, the Rogue can’t complete in terms of cargo space, towing capability or fuel capacity. But don’t take our word for it.
